Age-Depth Modelling

Paisley Caves

I am currently collaborating with other researchers to accurately depict changes in fish and mammal populations from the Paisley Caves archeological site in Oregon. My job is to clean up messy radiocarbon data and make it match the cultural information, then create age-depth models.

Most recently, we've published an analysis of environmental change using fish bones in the Paisley Caves.

Landslide Dammed Lakes

I am a co-author on a 2021 paper that evaluates landslide dammed lakes and the fire and climate cycle signature contained inside their sedimentological records. My job was to use a combination of tree ring dates, fire dates, and Cesium dates to reconstruct the ages in the sediment core.
